Stronger foundations

The Government unveiled a Skills White Paper this week with an emphasis on improving college education, including an expansion of foundation degrees.

On Tuesday, Ruth Kelly, the Education Secretary, told MPs that 50,000 more places on foundation degrees would be available next year.
