Stirling starts a late fast-track entry

January 14, 2000

* Stirling University will next month introduce an annual entry point for students. The February entrants will be able to fast-track their way to an honours degree in three-and-a-half years rather than four.

But as well as following normal course work, they will be expected to attend Stirling's summer academic programme and evening classes. The spring entry point is likely to attract about 30 students.
