Step aside, Bath

Hot on the heels of the news that the University of Bath is in the FA Cup proper comes reports of further student sporting prowess. Congratulations to the motor sports students at the University of Central Lancashire who won the "Kent to do" King of Kents class - the premier European event for Kent engine Formula Ford cars - at Brands Hatch last week.

Congratulations also to Karen Sindall, a sports science student at the University of East London, who won the under-23 world championship duathlon - a 10km run followed by a 40km cycle ride and final 5km run.
