Standards in support of innovative business solutions - call for proposals

Brussels, 15 Apr 2005

The European Commission has published a call for proposals entitled 'standards in support of innovative business solutions' under the Research and Innovation pillar of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).

The call addresses the following areas:
- facilitating the integration of open standards into the design of new products and services;
- facilitating the integration of open standards into business practices;
- stimulating innovation through reference to standards in procurement.

The Coordination Action instrument will be used for this call.

The total indicative budget is 5.5 million euro.
