Southampton Solent University has become the first university in the UK to run its own stage at Glade, an open-air electronic music festival. Students are involved in everything from performing to booking acts. A spokeswoman said: "Festivals are now a significant part of our portfolio. We are the only university to have an industry-standard working slot at Glastonbury, for example."
