Staffordshire University is the best in the United Kingdom for customer service to prospective business students, according to the results of a telephone study by national advertising, research and response consultants the Scott Edgar Group.
More than 100 universities in the UK that offer business courses were contacted and their responses graded according to the level of customer service offered. Each of the institutions were called three times during August by researchers posing as potential students, using the same personal details and asking a list of predefined questions relating to business studies courses and their availability.
