An agreement has been struck that will allow Staffordshire University to run "Bafta-branded" lectures, workshops, masterclasses and seminars. The deal between the university and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts will be trialled in a one-year pilot programme that will include events such as screenings and talks by writers, directors and producers. Staffordshire said the partnership would "inspire the next generation of moving-image professionals".
