(Photograph) - Bleddyn Richards has just completed an MSc at the University of Glamorgan on the impact of grey squirrels on commercial forestry. The animals look pretty but breed ferociously, producing up to 12 kittens a year per female, and are highly destructive, he says. Careful management is needed to keep numbers under control.
