Smart materials for medical applications

An international conference on nanotechnology and smart materials for medical applications will take place in Rome, Italy, on 29 and 30 November.

The event will highlight the potential of nanotechnology for human health care, with presentations from both the research community and industry.

The conference will have the following themes:
- new frontiers of medical diagnostics;
- novel pharmaceuticals and therapies;
- implants and prostheses;
- effects of nanotechnology on medicine and the health care system.
