Anyone who feels that research isn't glamorous clearly isn't working at the University of West of England or University College London.

The two institutions announced this week that they have forged relationships with scientists in Japan to pursue groundbreaking toilet science. Julienne Hanson and Clara Greed jetted to East Asia this week to attend the National Toilet Symposium in Tokyo. A surefire way to impress non-sandal wearers in the pub.
