Glasgow Caledonian University has created the first Scottish retail chair in partnership with Scotmid, one of the country's leading co-operative chains.
Caledonian Business School has appointed Christopher Moore Scotmid professor in retailing, allowing him to act as academic adviser to Scotmid. The post is for an initial five years, and Professor Moore will teach retailing at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
