Brussels, 06 March 2002
Scientists from Europe, North America and South Africa will assemble in London on 13 and 14 May for a two day symposium on the role of science in the challenges of the future.
Session topics include the use of scientific advice in the making of public policy, the ethical and social issues arising from the science of medicine and the scope and limits of knowledge. The underlying theme of the event, organised by the International Balzan foundation, is the dialogue between science and the humanities.
