Royal Institution gets first female leader

Susan Greenfield will become the first woman to head the Royal Institution when she takes over as director on October 1. Professor Greenfield, who leads a multidisciplinary group on neuro-degenerative disorders at Oxford University, is also a well-known popular science author.
