Royal Geographical Society

Small Research Grants of up to £3,000 are now available from the Royal Geographical Society. These are open to individual researchers working in a UK institution at a post-doctoral level to assist with travel, maintenance, data collection and temporary research assistance costs of a geographical research project. Some preference will be given to grants that are largely pump-priming, preparatory to larger grant applications. Applications are particularly welcomed from those early in their research careers.
