The concept behind the new waiting room design at the former Department for Education and Employment has been lost following its split last week into the Department for Education and Skills and the Department for Work and Pensions.
A redundant sign welcomes visitors "to this redesigned waiting area, designed to look like an employment service job centre as a reminder of the links between education and employment".
