Brussels, 22 Jun 2004
The Dutch Association of Universities (VSNU) will hold a conference on research-industry cooperation in the EU's framework programmes for research in Amsterdam on 9 July.
The event will focus on lessons learned in the previous framework programmes, as well as the future in the form of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Three main themes for debate are foreseen: governance, financial systems and intellectual property.
The conference is intended to provide policy makers with an insight into the experiences of universities, industry and research organisations gained during participation in the EU's framework programmes.
