Celebrity cook Clarissa Dickson Wright went for seconds when when she was installed as rector of the University of Aberdeen this week. Ms Dickson Wright was the first woman rector for more than 500 years when she was appointed in 1999. Her return is thought to be the first time a rector has served a second term. Ms Dickson Wright was a barrister before pursuing her talent as a cook, writer and broadcaster. She completed her law degree and bar exams in three years instead of the usual six and at 21 was the youngest woman to be called to the bar.
