Recent advances in space technologies - international conference

Istanbul, Turkey, will host an international conference on recent advances in space technologies from 20 to 22 November.

The conference aims to bring together the theoreticians, practitioners and policy makers in the field of space, and to provide a forum for the presentation and exchange of ideas on new space applications and technologies to bring space closer to home.

Topics for discussion include:
- small satellites, micro, nano and pico satellites;
- new developments in global positioning;
- space communication;
- remote sensing technologies and application;
- space and the prediction, mitigation and monitoring of natural disasters;
- miniaturisation;
- instrumentation;
- intelligence and autonomy in satellites;
- new launch systems.

The organisers invite both registration and the submission of papers.
