Tom Wilson called for a television soap based on a university

Does Tom Wilson watch Coronation Street? The flag for higher education flies high in Weatherfield as we await Toyah's A-level results. It would appear that as "the first Battersby to go to university", our Toyah will be representational of real life as she is likely to be reading media studies.

Radio 4's The Archers not only has a University of Borsetshire, but a university lecturer, Simon Gerrard, and a new graduate from said university. In fact, all that The Archers needs is for Laurie Taylor to appear as a visiting professor and the representation of academic life would be complete.
