A centre for research in political psychology has opened in Northern Ireland. The centre at Queen's University Belfast will undertake research, teaching and community projects focusing on understanding new forms of political engagement, citizenship, intergroup relations and political life in diverse societies. The opening of the centre was marked by a conference, Tearing Down the Walls, which discussed topics from adversarial discourse during Prime Minister's Questions to democracy and human rights.
