Prior information on biometric authentication and identification studies

The European Commission's Information Society DG has published a prior information notice on open calls for tenders for studies.

The studies relate to the deployment and interoperability of electronic and biometric authentication and identification.

The envisaged budget is 80,000 euro.

Remarks: The provisional date for initiating the award procedures is the second half of 2002.
