Primary trainers fail to impress Ofsted

Some primary school teacher training providers are still falling short of minimum quality standards, schools inspector Ofsted has warned. Ofsted's primary follow-up survey, 1996-98, found that 34 primary teacher training providers had at least one area where quality improvements were needed.
