Loser Peter Mandelson's defeat was the subject of a flood of crocodile tears from people throughout the party, despite his PPE degree from St Catherine's College, Oxford. Successful contestant Ken Livingstone boasts a teaching certificate from Philippa Fawcett College of Education, but to the relief of Chris Woodhead chose afterwards to toil as a technician at the Chester Beatty Cancer Research Institute instead of at the chalkface.
