The Government has announced the first social science project to be funded under the Large Facilities Capital Fund. A £15.5 million study of 40,000 households called the UK Households Longitudinal Study - examining people's lives, experiences, behaviours, expectations and beliefs over time - will help inform policy in housing, health and education.
