Poetry centre opens

Queen's University Belfast has opened a £3 million Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry, which aims to be an international base for literary research and creative writing. Its first director, Ciaran Carson, is, like Nobel laureate Heaney, a Queen's graduate and award-winning poet.
