Plymouth College of further education has won a Beacon Award for excellence in science teaching. The college won the biology award for its innovative A-level biology courses run by Peter Belton and Meg Cooper. David Brancher, from the Partnership Trust, who presented the award, said:
"The Beacon Partnership Awards were established to promote inspirational and innovative teaching in science."
