It would be "unacceptable" if further education were not properly represented on each of the nine new regional development agencies, the Further Education Funding Council has told the government in its response to its white paper, Building Partnerships for Prosperity. "It would be unacceptable for education membership on RDAs to be dominated by either (the higher education or further education) sector," the council said. The FEFC has also called for clarification of the agencies' powers.
