* The Copyright Tribunal issued its final decision last week in the dispute between Universities UK and the Copyright Licensing Agency over the cost of photocopying licences.
The order gave details of the new photocopying licence for universities. They will pay £4 per full-time student for five years and will not have to pay extra for course pack copying.
The tribunal ordered the CLA to pay a quarter of UUK's costs with an interim payment of £100,000. The CLA said the terms would apply to all higher education institutions, even if they were not members of UUK.
