Minimum lecturing salaries will rise 15 per cent at Dundee University as it becomes the first Scottish institution to establish the new pay framework.
New lecturers will earn a minimum salary of £28,009 next year under a deal between Dundee and the Association of University Teachers. Postdoctoral researchers' salaries will rise 24 per cent to at least £24,886.
