Paper defies peer pressure

Here at The Times Higher , we like to think of our newspaper as an essential, even a defining, part of campus life. So it was reassuring to find several references to it in the new comic novel A Campus Conspiracy .

But Peep was saddened by the uses to which the paper was put - namely to avoid eye contact with difficult colleagues in the senior common room.
