Overseas hike

There has been a 20 per cent increase in overseas students choosing to study in Britain, according to revised figures from the British Council. The council had reported a 42 per cent increase between 1993/94 and 1994/95. The rise follows growing realisation abroad that United Kingdom education provides value for money, the council says.
