Overpriced meals

Universities are paying up to twice the market price for food, a report from a government spending watchdog has revealed. The report Smarter Food Procurement in the Public Sector says the public sector could save more than £220 million a year in food and catering costs by 2010-11 if it becomes more efficient in the buying and production of food.
