Outbreak hits students

With all the misery faced by farmers over the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, spare a thought for students at the Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education.

The foot-and-mouth precautions have led to the postponement of the Cheltenham races, due to take place this week, which means that students will not be able to collect from racegoers for rag week.
