Researchers at the Open University's Centre for Earth, Planetary, Space and Astronomical Research have won two of three Aurora Fellowships sponsored by the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council.
Manish Patel will examine habitats for life in the solar system. Axel Hagermann will investigate the interaction of energy, gases and granular surfaces on planetary surfaces.
