· OBJECTIVES OF THE MEETING
The main objective of this consultation meeting is to obtain views of industry and other affected parties, in order to take them into account in the finalisation of the European Common Proposals (ECPs), and prior to their submission to the CEPT administrations for final approval.
· TOPICS ON WHICH COMMENTS ARE SOUGHT
The consultation meeting will focus on the following topics to be discussed in WRC-03:
- Radionavigation, Radionavigation-satellite and Radiolocation services,
- Mobile, Mobile-satellite and Space Science services,
- Fixed, Fixed-satellite and Broadcasting-satellite services,
- Maritime, Broadcasting and Amateur services,
- Regulatory aspects

The European Commission and the Conference Preparatory Group (CPG) of the CEPT are organising an open consultation meeting in the context of the preparation for the World Radiocommunications Conference which will be held in Geneva in June 2003 (WRC-03), with a view to promote discussions in a public forum on the many issues addressed by WRC-03, and the European positions developed towards them.
Open Consultation Meeting for discussion of the issues to be addressed in the June 2003 World Radiocommunications Conference Over 100 participants are expected to attend the two-day workshop, a significant proportion of which from industry and from non-commercial sectors.
