We were envious to discover last week that vice-chancellors own more than flashy cars - some have yachts and others planes. But it appears we misrepresented Roland Levinsky, vice-chancellor of Plymouth University.
He wrote to us to explain: "I don't mind you making fun of me in the August silly season, but I do object to you using a picture of an old 30ft boat and making it look like it's the one I own. I would have given you a picture of Meridian of Beaulieu if you had asked."
