Leeds Metropolitan University was so chuffed at being shortlisted for two Times Higher Awards, it got a bit carried away.
The institution created a four-page mock-up newspaper to herald its success.
Pre-empting the judges' choice, its headline shouted "Uni of the Year". In fact, the award for Higher Education Institution of the Year went to Nottingham University.
