Oldham gets higher for 1999

Higher education is coming to Oldham, with a Pounds 3.5 million business school due to open in time for the September 1999 academic year. The venture, launched this week by Further Education Funding Council chairman Lord Davies of Oldham, will be a partnership between Oldham Council, Oldham College, Oldham Sixth Form College, with higher education courses accredited by the universities of Salford and Manchester.
