NUS members back march against fees

Members of the National Union of Students have overwhelmingly backed calls for a national march and lobby of Parliament against tuition fees and student hardship.

A ballot of all student unions on the issue was held as part of new NUS policy following its conference in April, which agreed that student unions should be consulted on major NUS activities. The march will be held in late November, and the lobby a few weeks later.
