Notts protest grows

More than 1,000 academics have shown their support for plans for an international boycott of Nottingham University, the Association of University Teachers said this week. The AUT, which is threatening to greylist Nottingham in time for the start of term next month in protest at the university's plans to impose new staff pay and career paths, said that 1,035 had signed a petition supporting its position as The Times Higher went to press.
