Nottingham stands out

Scientists have voted Nottingham University the best academic institution to work in outside North America. The other high-ranked UK institutions were Dundee University, voted fourth best outside the US, University College London (seventh best) and Oxford University (tenth). The online survey by The Scientist , to which 2,072 academics responded, asked readers to assess their institutions on job satisfaction, facilities, pay, management, peers, teaching and tenure.
