Nottingham launches life sciences gateway

The University of Nottingham has launched an internet service to help life scientists search the web more efficiently.

The Biome hub has five subject-specific gateways. They cover: biological and biomedical research, medicine and health, animal health, agriculture and food sciences, and the natural world (hosted by the Natural History Museum). The service is funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee.
