Spotted in the online version of Varsity , Cambridge University's student newspaper: "For sale: hot air balloon basket. Excellent condition. Disabled access. One previous, highly intelligent owner." Stephen Hawking, author of The Brief History of Time and Lucasian professor of mathematics at the university, appears to be selling his hot air balloon basket. The specially designed unit has a ramp to allow wheelchair access and a viewing platform to enable wheelchair users to enjoy the view. But pity the poor postgraduate who is charged with responding to any offers made to Graduate_Assistant@damtp.cam.ac.uk .
