Nanotechnologies and volatile organic compounds

January 17, 2005

Brussels, 14 Jan 2005

An international symposium on 'Application of nanotechnologies for separation and recovery of volatile organic compounds from waste air streams' (ANVOC) will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from 30 May to 1 June 2005.

The objective of the symposium is to disseminate scientific understanding, performance and engineering applications of membrane-based technological solutions, and to address important pollution risk issues (for example the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)) that endanger human health and the environment, via high quality research data and outputs.
