Monitoring and analysis of technology transfer and intellectual property regimes

June 28, 2005

Brussels, Jun 2005

The Commission's Research DG has published a call for tenders under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) for assistance in the monitoring and analysis of technology transfer and intellectual property regimes and their use.

The successful tenderer will assess specific research-related aspects of IP law, including the experimental exception, prior user rights, legislation applicable to technological know-how, IPR co-ownership provisions, and others, with a view to identifying necessary actions where appropriate.

IPR awareness and training issues will also need to be addressed, and all findings and recommendations will need to be broadly disseminated, in particular to policymakers.
