Stafford College student Andrew MacCallum puts the finishing touches to his life-sized model of the first Earl of Stafford.

"Since my college days in Stafford, I've continued working as a sculptor, working in the ceramics industry for much of that time but more recently concentrating on my figurative work . In 2007, I created the brick sculpture which went on exhibition in Southampton Bargate which was well received. Since October 2008, teaching sculpture has also become an important part of my practice. Having students gain knowledge from my experience is a thoroughly rewarding aspect. I am driven, though, by my love of creating sculpture; no other form of art holds my attention as well, whether creating or simply viewing."
