The Association of University Teachers has expressed concern at discrimination against ethnic minorities in higher education. A survey shows that nearly a quarter of white lecturers earn more than Pounds 35,000 a year, compared with just 8 per cent of black lecturers and 12 per cent of Asian lecturers.
