RMIT University has denied claims that radiation from mobile phone towers on the roof of its business school has caused brain tumours in seven of the staff. Margaret Gardner, the vice-chancellor, said preliminary data showed no environmental issues of concern but promised that independent comprehensive testing of air quality, electromagnetic spectrum, surface contamination and water quality would continue at the site.
