Given the National Lottery's need for a sizable public space every week, it was never going to be long before the draw took place in a university. And where better than last week's choice as the first academic lottery location - Huddersfield University? If former vice chancellor Ken Durrands is among the winners, expect the Higher Education Funding Council for England to call for a National Audit Office inquiry.
