A proposal for virtual testing of websites has won a Pounds 1,000 prize for best internet business plan.
Students on the digital business course at University College London were challenged to develop their e-business plans as part of coursework.
The technology and concepts for the virtual testing business were developed by Oliver Jones, Ian Lloyd and Jesmond Worthington, who are all studying for a masters degree in computer science.
They hope that their start-up business will enable other net companies to produce stable, reliable and accurate websites. Sponsor PricewaterhouseCoopers Service Trust Group will offer business counselling for the six shortlisted teams.
